The Good, the Bad, and the Undead

I just finished this, the second book in Kim Harrison's "The Hollows" series. Tina has mentioned these before - she's farther along in the series than I am. They are good - not spectacular-amazing, but very entertaining. Pretty original language and concepts and execution (the author has rearranged history a bit in the book and I think that's really fun).

I'm definitely invested in the characters, so book 3 has now been downloaded (there are 9 in total...so start reading!).

  1. I like these books even though I don't like the main character. the plots are entertaining. I think I've read 5 or 6 of them.

  2. And see - I love Rachel now. Nine books in and you really fall for a witch. I've changed how I think about many of the characters. Well, except Jenks - he's still the baddest pixie I've ever 'met' in a book.
